Spring Has Sprung

I'm a little late- but spring is finally here! Even though we had a mild winter in Knoxville, I've been anxiously waiting to pack up my winter coats and break out my pastels!

With this wonderful spring weather comes the impending doom of finals....BUT lucky for me I was able to take a beach vacation (to Pawley's Island, SC) with some close friends for spring break. There's nothing like a few days in the sun with your toes in the sand to get you feeling relaxed and recharged. Now that I'm back in Knoxville, I would give almost anything to go back!

New Way To Shop

For Lent this year, I decided to give up online shopping (even browsing!) While it has been difficult, it's drawn me to think about and explore other forms of shopping. With food trucks popping up across the country, it was only a matter of time before the concept translated to different markets. Enter the Fashion Truck: carrying a small, select collection of items paired together to tell a unique story, these offer a much different shopping experience from that of a chain store or an online site. Trucks are popping up on both coasts: Le Fashion Truck in LA and The Fashion Truck in Boston.... but I'm still waiting for one to hit the South so I can try out this form of shopping for myself!
